Jason is a Creative Director and Character & IP Developer with over 20 years’ experience across illustration, animation, brand development and product design.

He specialises in creating character-led stories, products and experiences that engage children and families, bringing ideas to life through personality, narrative and design.

Today, his work sits at the intersection of creative craft and AI-enabled production. By combining traditional tools with emerging AI workflows, Jason helps organisations rapidly prototype ideas, visualise concepts and produce high-quality content more efficiently, without losing creative integrity.

His portfolio includes nationally recognised characters such as Ruben the Road Safety Bear, Undercover Cody, and work for organisations including ACC and the NZ Fire Service. From educational programmes to commercial campaigns, his work is designed to engage, educate and create lasting impact.
